Last night, as the sun was setting, we noticed a black bunny running into the bushes in front of the house.  Our neighbors noticed Black Bunny as well, and told us the kids behind them were missing a rabbit.  So all four of us, with Gary as lead catcher with a fishing net, tromped through other neighbors' yards in search for Black Bunny.  We almost caught him once, but like Peter Rabbit, he slipped under the fence behind  one of the houses.

We are taking off on an RV adventure, one that we have dreamed about for several years especially after hearing all of the stories from Gary's parents about their trip around the United States.  We leave Saturday.  While chasing after the bunny, our neighbor Jan wished us well on our trip and told us that we were leaving on Migratory Bird Day.  How appropriate!  We are wild geese, albeit older geese, setting off on our adventure and invite you to join us through this blog as I share stories of our days, pictures I am painting, and photos of the areas we see.
